The Future of Social History: Who are we Curating for?

Edinburgh - City Art Centre and Dovecot Studios

Thursday 18th and Friday 19th July 2019

This year’s conference includes interactive workshops, tours and presentations on a wide range of themes including rationalisation and representation in museum collections.

Conference is a great opportunity to hear about the experiences and learning from a range of institutions across the country, to take part in valuable knowledge building workshops, and to have the opportunity to network with others in the sector.

This year the programme includes access to the City Art Centre and Dovecot Studios, evening drinks and a meal as well as interactive workshops. For those that want to extend their stay we will also be going on a visit to the V&A Dundee on Saturday 20th July

Annual General Meeting

Please be advised that the next Annual General Meeting of the Social History Curators Group will be held at the following place and time: 18th July 4:00-4:45pm at the City Art Centre, Edinburgh.

Limited accommodation is available for the Wednesday evening and Friday evening for anyone who wishes to travel up early or stay for the Saturday trip to the V&A Dundee.
