V&A museum: textiles

The V&A holds the national collection of textiles and fashion, which includes more than 75,000 individual objects or sets of objects that span a period of more than 5,000 years, from Predynastic Egypt to the present day.

The textiles section on the website allows you to explore the collection, find out more about highlighted objects, look for V&A books that provide more information, and find out where related items are on display in the museum.
