4 Vols Published in 1907, this is a comprehensive work on the lives of the British Saints. The author, Baring-Gould, is said to have had one of the most brilliant, eclectic minds of Victorian England. He found time to write over 100 books, including 30 novels. Apart from his church work and diocesan responsibilities, John Fisher won eminence as a Welsh scholar and antiquary. He was also secretary of the Cambrian Archaeological Association. His greatest monument is considered to be "The Lives of the British Saints".
