Resource verified by SHCG editorial group

Notes:

Folk songs, sea shanties and children's rhymes are an integral part of Britain's heritage, performed throughout the land from the Last Night of the Proms to the local school and pub. In the Traditional Music in England project about 1,500 hours of recordings of these are being made available to the public thanks to a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund.
